Info: This is the largest art show in north-east Melbourne, featuring over 500 local and interstate artists. One fabulous painting by an established artist to be raffled.

Warrandyte Historical Society Museum
Time: Saturday 10.00am – 4.30pm and Sunday 1.30pm – 4.30pm.
Location: 111 Yarra St.
Info: Changing exhibitions and permanent displays: Warrandyte developed on the land of the Wurrundjeri people after it became the site of the first registered goldfield in Victoria in 1851. Miners were succeeded over the decades by orchardists, farmers, artists, architects, sculptors and potters. Its bush and riverine environment has long been popular with tourists. The village streetscape and surviving historic buildings are protected under a Townscape Heritage Overlay.

Skylarkers – Singing Performance
Date: Saturday 18 March.

Info: St Stephen’s Church will host a Musical Afternoon featuring ‘The Skylarkers’, a local North Ringwood group who offer solos, duets and ensemble work – from popular musicals. The concert will be followed by free light refreshments in the church hall.

The Repair Cafe
Date: Sunday 19 March.
Time: 10.30am – 12.30pm.
Location: Warrandyte Mechanics Institute and Arts Association, Yarra St.
Info: What do you do with a broken toaster? Or with a bike when the wheel runs out of true? Or with a sweater full of moth holes? Toss it? No way! The Warrandyte Mechanics Institute and Arts Association (WMI&AA) runs the Warrandyte Repair Café at the Mechanics Hall on the first Sunday of each month. Various volunteer repair experts (we call them our lovely ‘fixers’) will be available to help make all possible repairs free of charge. Tools and materials will also be on hand. People visiting the Repair Café can bring along their broken items from home. Toasters, lamps, hair dryers, clothes, bikes, toys, crockery… anything that is broken is welcome. And can more than likely be repaired. The Repair Café specialists almost always have the know-how.

Reconciliation Manningham presents Local Walking Tours
Time: 11.00am Saturday and Sunday.
Info: The Municipality of Manningham has a rich Aboriginal history and heritage, and Reconciliation Manningham believes that sharing this can only enrich our lives as Australians. Reconciliation Manningham therefore seeks to strengthen reconciliation by working collaboratively with Aboriginal Elders and groups to raise public awareness of our local Aboriginal history and heritage.
Saturday walk: Jim Poulter from Reconciliation Manningham will lead a walking tour of the riverfront area where fish traps, eel traps and freshwater mussel farms were built on the geological structures there. Meet at end of Police St for the Waterfront Walk.
Sunday walk: Jim Poulter from Reconciliation Manningham will lead a walking tour with a focus on the interpretation of events and figures associated with the area. Meet at end of Pound Bend carpark near the tunnel, for the Pound Bend Walkabout.

Warrandyte Pottery hosts kids clay play and paint a pot
Time: 12.00pm – 2.30pm Saturday and Sunday.
Location: Warrandyte Pottery gardens, 207 Yarra St (in front of the wonguim wilam playground)
Info: Come on down and enjoy some crafts, a coffee, a jaffle and a play! Kids Clay Play: Children are invited to enjoy the sensory and calming experience of working with clay. $10 per ball of clay. Paint a Pot: Children and adults are invited to come paint a pre-made cup, vase or plate. Leave them with us to be glaze fired and collect them in three weeks’ time! $10-25 depending on the item.
