Plein air painting competition
NaNY Gallery is pleased to present their inaugural Warrandyte Festival 'Plein Air' Painting Competition.
Tori Swedosh and Jacinta Payne, curators at NaNY Gallery, are excited to announce the very special guest judge will be Gabriela Mello from Warrandyte Pottery.
How to enter:
Friday 19 April:
-Find Tori from NaNY Gallery from 9.00am (lower Riverbank) with your completed form (call 0432 712 340)
-Pay a $20 entry fee
-Create a new picture of the Festival area or close by along the river during Friday day and/or night
Saturday 20 April:
-Drop the finished piece to the NaNY Gallery tent on the lower Riverbank by 8.00am
-Your artwork will be displayed from 9.00am until 6.00pm.
Terms and conditions:
Painting or drawing only (no photography)
Your artwork can be a landscape or something more abstract that you might find interesting
Works must be 2D - able to be hung on the wall
Size must be no larger than 1m x 1m and weigh no more than 3kg
Works on paper will be pinned to our Festival display wall if unframed
Prizes
First prize: A solo exhibition at NaNY Gallery in December 2024.
Peoples choice prize: $100 voucher for Victorian Artists Supplies.

Visit the NaNY Gallery tent on the lower Riverbank between 9.00am and 6.00pm on Saturday 20 April.
Artworks will be available for sale to the public on the day.
100% of sales (less the Square fee) will go to the artist.
